The August Virgin is an exceptional slice of cinematic bliss – a lyrical, poetic, meandering film. (…) I really did not want it to end, I could’ve watched for days.
Alex Billinton, First Showing

Itsaso Arana gives a beautiful, transcendent performance.
Rory O’Connor, The film stage
